Note:A total of 255 base address settings are available. The switches are a binary representation of the decimal memory addresses. SB2/7 is the Most Significant Bit and switch SB3/6 is the Least Significant Bit. The switches have the following decimal values:SB2/7=512, SB2/8=256, SB1/8=128, SB1/7=64, and SB1/6=32. Turn off the switches and add the values of the switches and convert to hexadecimal to obtain the correct memory address. (Off=1, On=0)

MISCELLANEOUS TECHNICAL NOTES

To install the MATH/16 Coprocessor daughter card, remove the CPU from its socket on the PC-SLAVE/16N, and install it in the socket on the daughter card. Then insert the daughter card into the socket from which you removed the CPU on the PC-SLAVE/16N card, so that the pin 1’s on the daughter card are pointing in the same direction as the pin 1’s of all the chips on the PC-SLAVE/16N.
